Use of UCMA 4.0 for getting users presence through Office 365

Hello,

We are trying to get the presence of users in Lync 2013 through Office 365 and we do not get with the solution. We are trying to use UCMA 4.0 for this purpose, and we are not finding much information about UCMA 4.0 and Office 365 integration.

We don't want to have installed or use any Lync client, and we haven't the possibility of installing a Lync Server.

Are we following the right path using UCMA? Could this really be done using UCMA or any other framework, API or technology? If it can be done using UCMA, could you give us some guidelines to do it?
